Sony PlayStation Portable PSP Go Latest Brand New Model – Stylishly Sleek, Slim Lite, Gaming Console

The Computer Entertainment and handheld gaming consoles division of Sony Corporation have announced an absolutely new version of PSP model, the Sony PSP Go. The newest member of the PSP family sports an all new stylish look and sleek design to impress its owner and everyone around it.

The PSP go features a 3.8” slide-out display which also functions as a touch screen for some exclusive applications and covers the modishly designed buttons underneath its slide. It’s a completely new and digital mode of entertainment for handheld gaming devices.
Sony has ditched the conventional UMD drives of the PSP for the sake of an internal flash memory unit, so there is no opening for UMDs on its back. Instead, a built in memory of 16GB will provide you with plenty of storage space to store your favorite images, music and videos. If you are thinking that you will run out of memory, then try the expandable memory (micro SD card) that fits into the memory slot at its side. The flash memory storage will enable cheaper and faster digital downloads for games, videos, TV shows and music from the Sony’s PlayStation Store.
With 128MB of RAM, the PSP Go is sure to deliver a rich gaming experience. Since UMDs are out of the league, new games are being released for the PSP Go which includes ‘Gran Turismo 4’, Metal Gear Solid, MotorStorm Arctic Edge, Assassin’s Creed, Rock Band Unplugged and Madden NFL 10 and also the PSP Go version of the popular PS3 game, LittleBigPlanet. All these can be directly downloaded to the PSP over the wireless network.
While PSP 3000 and other PSP models will still hold their place in the market, official reports have confirmed that the PSP Go will be unveiled at E3 2009 Summit in June 2009. Though it is set to release in the Japanese Markets in the wake of September, it is slated for launch in the United States and some other parts of the globe on Oct 1 2009 and will be available at a price tag of $249.
